Yum Yum!!

The snickerdoodles were a huge success! Our neighbor's mother liked them so well that she asked for the recipe. Now I have a problem . . . every recipe I find for snickerdoodles calls for cream of tartar, which is not sold here. I've found a couple of substitutions online, but I was wondering if maybe some of you "chefs" out there have a good substitution for cream of tartar. Please pass it along if you do!! In the meantime, I'll experiment with what I've found online.
