History Lesson

I've started reading a book about the history of this country, and recently I had the opportunity to travel to some of the early historical sites I've read about. It was spectacular!! Here are a few pictures . . .

a river that reminded me a lot of home - my friends were touched that these surroundings reminded me so much of home - you see, there are no trees or rivers like this in our city!
